October 29 · A day for every one of us.
ONE DAY. EVERY HUMAN.

Here’s to
being human.

The belly laughs. The big feelings. The beautifully ordinary bits. Let’s give the human experience its very own day.

No membership. No rulebook. Just you, being you.

A VERY SIMPLE IDEA

Life is a lot.
Let’s appreciate it together.

There’s wonder in being human. We imagine, feel, stumble, learn, care, and begin again. And we share this extraordinary little planet.

Human Appreciation Day is a happy invitation to pause on October 29 and celebrate all of it. Every background. Every body. Every kind of human.

A holiday with room for everyone
BIG JOY. LITTLE THINGS.

There’s no wrong way
to make someone’s day.

No presents required. No perfect plans.
Just a little appreciation, your way.

A handwritten note with a heart and a smiling pencil.01 / FOR SOMEONE ELSE

Tell a human they matter.

Thank the friend who listens. Wave to your neighbor. Tell someone what you appreciate about them.

A smiling mug beside a little musical note and a heart.02 / FOR YOURSELF

Enjoy a very human moment.

Play that song. Make something wonderfully imperfect. Rest. Savor the little things that make life yours.

A friendly green tree with a tiny bird and a daisy.03 / FOR OUR SHARED HOME

Say a little thanks to Earth.

Notice a leaf, a cloud, a patch of sky. Care for the world that makes all our human moments possible.

LET’S PUT APPRECIATION ON THE CALENDAR

human idea.

Help make October 29 a day the world celebrates.

“I support recognizing October 29 as Human Appreciation Day: an inclusive, joyful annual celebration of the human experience, human connection, and our shared home on Earth.”

We’re gathering support for national and international recognition. This is an independent public petition; official recognition is our goal.

A FEW HUMAN QUESTIONS

Glad you asked.

Who is Human Appreciation Day for?

Every human. Every nationality, culture, belief, gender, age, and ability. There’s no membership or viewpoint to adopt. Everyone can celebrate; the online petition is for adults aged 18 and over.

Is it an official holiday yet?

We’re starting with a simple idea and gathering support for national and international recognition of October 29. This petition is independent. Signing doesn’t automatically create a public holiday, but you can celebrate the day right now.

Do I have to believe in anything?

Nope. No political, religious, or philosophical framework is required. Bring your own beliefs, your own story, and your wonderfully human self.

Why do you ask for a phone number?

It helps us spot repeat signatures with the same name and phone number. We turn those details into a private fingerprint and discard the number. We don’t call, text, sell numbers, or verify phone ownership. People sharing a phone can each sign in their own names.

Can I change my mind after signing?

Of course. Keep the private receipt you get after signing. Use Manage your signature to view or remove it. For corrections or a lost receipt, contact luckysam@humanappreciationday.com.

You don’t have to be extraordinary
to be worth appreciating.

SEE YOU ON OCTOBER 29.
